If you are looking to get better at decisions, here’s a recent favorite. The Road Less Stupid by Keith J. Cunningham is one of the best business strategy books I’ve read in recent years.
In it, Keith shares how he lost $100 million dollars at age 40, and how it transformed him as a person.
Keith shows how we often ask the wrong question, and end up building a machine “for the problem that does not exist.”
For Keith, a decision starts with asking the right question. In the book, he gives over 180 different questions to ask yourself depending on where you are in your business.
He also advocates for Thinking Time, which is undistracted time set aside for thinking deeply through critical questions.
Thinking Time has been a game-changer for me as I’ve implemented it into my weekly routine.
